Now all you have to do is learn how to properly wash and style your wig. I have good news for you: if you follow a few basic rules, you will soon realize that washing a natural wig is a fairly simple procedure.

So, the principles that you should be guided by:

- do no harm (if you spoil the hair in the wig, it will be extremely difficult to restore it, if you cut it unsuccessfully, they will not grow back. In addition, usually the hair on the head is regularly nourished from the inside, and the hair in the wig is only from the outside);

- do not overdo it (a natural wig does not like too much of something: for example, shampoo, conditioner or hairspray; it also cannot tolerate too high styling temperatures).

Step 1. Preparation for washing.

Before washing the wig, carefully comb the hair, as it will be very difficult to do it after washing. Start combing from the very tips and gradually rise up. When combing, try to avoid contact of the comb with the base of the wig, so as not to damage it.

Step 2. Wash. Type in a basin 5-7 liters of slightly warm water, approximately 36-37 ° C and dilute 1-2 tablespoons of shampoo in it, no more. You can use special wig shampoos or regular hair shampoos. Of the usual products, it is best to use shampoo for colored hair, as it has a low concentration of alkali in its composition. You can take a shampoo for normal hair, it is not recommended to use baby shampoo and other care products with a high alkali content.
